I'm so glad you stopped by. I have many interests and thought I would centralize them here. You are welcome to wander around and check things out. Of course, like most sites, this one is constantly under development. If something doesn't work, let me know I will try and get it fixed.

We are using a content management system called Joomla. It's very powerful and I am still learning the ropes. But I think it will be an excellent platform for the site.

On the left side, at the top, you will find the main menu. From there you can visit all the public areas of the site.

It's been my privilege to teach Bible class at the Mobile campus of Faulkner University since 2006. Through the years I have taught many wonderful subjects including The Pentateuch, Conquest of Canaan through the Divided Kingdom, Life of Christ, Acts of the Apostles and Marriage and the Family.

This fall I am teaching Conquest Through the Divided Kingdom. This course contains much material and it may be unfamiliar to you. It is important to be in class and to take careful notes.

If you are in my class I want you to know that I am thankful for your presence and for your efforts. Some of you are taking the class because you want to learn more about Christianity. But I know some are taking it to fulfill the requirements for your degree. Without those requirements you would not come close to a Bible class. I do understand your thinking and have been in the same position with some of the classes I have taken through the years. But I view your presence as both a gift to me from God and as a challenge to stir up your hearts for the Lord. I am a Christian and I think you should be one too. For that I do not apologize. I hope we can work together and both be encouraged by the class discussions.

Your various assignments, notes, handouts and class slides can be found on this site. Please don't view these as complete - they are not. Just over 9 years ago Bobbi and I traveled four hours south of our former home in Northport, Alabama to the coastal hamlet of Daphne, Alabama. At the time we knew little of the people here, nothing about the church and nothing about our future. However we trusted our Lord and plunged into the work at the Eastern Shore Church of Christ.

Our time, at least from our perspective, has been wonderful. The church has enjoyed great peace and growth. While we have grown in numbers, we have also grown deeper in our knowledge of the Lord.

Although I have been blessed to have worked in many fields,  my present work is the greatest endeavor I have ever been associated with. If I can live out my life in Daphne and work for the Eastern Shore church I will be incredibly blessed.

One accomplishments that I am quite pleased with is The Preacher's Study Blog. This site has been developing for about 2 years. You will find a collection of Bible articles on a wide variety of subjects.
